About the Lecturer II
Dr. Shenella Benjamin is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Guyana. She holds a Ph.D. in Innovation in Global Development from Arizona State University, a Master’s degree in Agriculture from Hebei Agricultural University in China, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Guyana.
Her research interests focus on sustainable agriculture, agro-tourism, and community development, with published work on Agro-tourism and adoption strategies for Guyana’s Rose Hall Estate. Dr. Benjamin is also passionate about student mentorship and is known for her innovative, hands-on teaching approach that prepares students with real-world skills in agribusiness and entrepreneurship.
