About the Lecturer I

Ms. Zenesia Phillips- Henry, completed a bachelor’s degree (BSc.) in General Agriculture at the University of Guyana, Turkeyen Campus. Studied at the Assam Agricultural University, India, where a master’s degree in Soil Science was completed. She currently holds the position of Coordinator within the Division of Agriculture, Berbice Campus. Holds a lecturer II position at the University of Guyana, where she is employed for 10 years. Interested in projects surrounding Sustainable Agriculture in the face of climate change and Soil remediation and amelioration using Bio-char. She regularly teaches Fundamentals of soil Science, Soil and water Conservation and Management, Crop production and Tropical Vegetable production and Field crops. Ms. Phillips -Henry has contributed collaboratively to research and has had the opportunity to present research globally through the Food Science and Technology Virtual Conference.
